stratton...

Here are two images of my nephew Stratton taken when we went to Childress over the holidays. The first one was damaged when I peeled the image. I was able to clean the flakes from the photo in Aperture to save the image. Wasn't for sure how the first one was going to turn out so I took the second one when it was almost dark outside. I believe the exposure of the second one was 1 second at f/8.0. In the end, both images are keepers to me. Overall, my goal is to have 8x10s of as much of my family as possible by the end of 2014. Looks like there are lots of trips with my 8x10 in the future...

a milestone for Stratton...

I got a big shot photo of him and one of him with mom and dad right before he was leaving for the ceremony. Sawyer didn't make the photo so I grabbed one of him on Sunday before we left...

roid week 2012 - my images...

Well roid week 2012 has come and gone. This is the first year that I have participated in the flickr event.  What a great time taking new pictures to post and viewing pictures from around the world.  There are so many talented photographers that use instant film as a method of documenting the things around them.  This alone is inspiring for me.  I absolutely enjoy taking photos and especially instant photos.  Come to think of it, instant photography is has become a hobby within a hobby.

Look forward to many more years of roid week and most of all knowing that some day I can share the original photos with my children, grandchildren and maybe even great-grandchildren...
