Tried out a camera that I have had for about a year, but hardly shot; a Polaroid One Step Red Stripe. This is a shop downtown Greenville, that I have photographed many time with several cameras...

warming up to the Impossible instalab...


This is an image originally taken with my Fuji X100S camera. I tranferred it to the new Impossible 600 film using the Impossible Instalab. To be honest, I have struggled getting the exposure/contrast correct on the Instlab. With the help of one of my Twitter friends, Patrick Clarke, I think I am getting the hang of this. This image was warmed the entire time (under my arm) during development using the Impossible cold/hot clip. I love the red tones that are the result of this warming...

Pyper's expression says it all. I recently received a surprise package of expired NIGO film in the mail from a guy in NYC (Kyle Depew) after I sent him a working packfilm camera. One picture and I remember what I loved about this film...

whitewashed wood...


Used my Fuji x100s to take the image and printed it to the PX680 film via the InstaLab. Wanted to see how well the whites would show up. Really like the overall look/feel of this image. Another one that goes well with the wood border.

Now this is what can be done with Impossible PQ 8x10 Color Protection Film! Based on this photo, I am ready to place my next order on the day the film releases public...

8x10 Color Test Film - Take Four...


Took the picture of these textile spools using available afternoon light coming through the window. A little bit over-exposed in the highlights, but still very colorful and super sharp. Large format cameras rock when it comes to nailing the focus exactly as you want.
