Pyper was sick tonight. Running a fever of 102 degrees. After the Tylenol took effect, she was all smiles. I captured this one on my Spectra camera with the closeup lens. I am not sure that I should be getting this close to a sick kid...

sharing is what it's all about...
My Polaroid Spectra is probably my least used camera. I decided to use it for some black and white instant photos this weekend. When I take instant photos of Pyper, she likes for me to take two images. That way she gets to keep one. Sadi also wanted an image of her and Pyper. It is worth every penny when I get to share those images with them...

Have photographed this mural (along with many other ones) in deep ellum mulitple times with different cameras. This Impossible image of Madison King is by far one of my favorites...

Caught this moment with a couple of kids playing in the sandbox at the Caldwell Zoo in Tyler. It was a rare moment when the truck wasn't surround with kids and parents. I couldn't have staged the kids in the cab any better. Just happened to be in the right place at the right time with the camera pointed in the right direction. :)
The photo is definitely over-exposed, but a somewhat surreal image. Some may attempt this through editing, but I was able to capture it exactly like this (unedited) on film. Just another reason why I continue to shoot Impossible film. As I have found time and time again, unexpected results can yield the most interesting images...

So Sadi get flowers delivered to the house last night and she is so excited...
During lunch today, I get out my Polaroid Spectra/closeup filter combo and take a picture of them. I have to tell you that I am absolutely amazed at the outcome! Where did all of these colors come from? I don't think you could get a better rendition of the colors than this! An Impossible Project success...
back to pyper...
With all the polawalks and other things going on, it has been a while since I posted a picture of Pyper. Got home today and Pyper was about to leave. Wanted to try out some PZ680 Color Protection film on her and this is the result. All I can say is WOW! Can't wait to get more opportunities to shoot this film again.
Getting back to Pyper, isn't she so adorable. More than anything, I look forward to many more Impossible shots of her over the years...

Found an interesting/fun (and even a little less-costly) use of my 8X10 camera. I taped 4 Polaroid Spectra Soft Tone images in a film holder and shot them all four at one time. Makes for a very exact quadtych. Bought a film changing bag to make this even easier. Now I have a great use for the 12 packs of Soft Tone that I have left...

Came upon this small statue in the East Mount Cemetery in Greenville this past weekend. I go to this cemetery often to look for items to photograph. As I got closer, I realized that the right arm was and left foot were missing/broken. Really like it when I get to use the last few black frame images on something as unique as this...
